In my six years of making art, I don’t think I’ve found a bigger champion than Francesca Castagnoli, the creator and curator of the Tiny Gallery Montclair. Last November, she welcomed me ino her lilliputian front-yard gallery, and it’s really something to see your art at 3 1/2 by 5 inches all framed in gold and perched on matching little easels. I’ve also discovered that Chessie, who practically vibrates with enthusiasm and cheer, has cultivated a large community of friends and collectors (often the same people), who come to her openings. Many of whom (!) have become collectors of my art.
So it’s not surprising that when I came to Chessie just a few days ago with the idea of selling some of my tiny paintings for Mother’s Day, she and her husband David Moore made it happen—like that. I’m thrilled to be the artist who spurred the Tiny Gallery to build an online store, which now has 17 Little Debbies all framed up, reasonably priced and ready to go. Buy one for your Mom, your best friend, your desk, your bookshelf, your fireplace mantle. They’re even promising local deliveries before Mother’s Day.
What? No deliveries to England?! Love the little Debbies, slightly bigger Debbie and this story. Bernadette 💕
